Operator Madness — a daily geography game where you find the caller
Someone calls for help and cannot tell you where they are. Ask what they can see — a bridge, a station, which way the river runs — match it to a real city map, and send help to the spot. Your score is the distance in metres between your pin and the caller.
How to play
- Take the call and ask for clues.
- Compare landmarks, paths and shapes on the map. No local knowledge needed.
- Place your pin and send help. The reveal shows how close you were and why.
Is it like GeoGuessr?
The goal is the same, but there is no street view to recognise. The location has to be deduced from a conversation, which makes it a detective puzzle with a map attached. Free, no signup, no time limit, playable on a phone — and a new city every day, with past cities kept in the archive.

The calls are fiction. The places are real. Nothing here reaches a real emergency service — in a real emergency, call your local emergency number.
